Why We're Building This

Together, the founding team brings over six years of firsthand experience navigating AI adoption—both inside and outside Silicon Valley—across technical development and real-world implementation.

Niosha Afsharikia, CEO, has 10+ years experience navigating highly regulated spaces. She spent the last 6 years as a consultant after earning her PhD, helping the government and private sector bring AI from theory to practice. She's seen the confusion, overwhelm, and lack of structure that plague even the most ambitious AI initiatives.

Roksana Baleshzar, CTO, has been building software since she was a teenager and spent the last 6.5 years as an AI engineer at Google. She worked on applied AI at scale, navigating the practical challenges of evaluating tools, monitoring agent behavior in production, and aligning systems with compliance needs.

We kept seeing the same pattern: companies either banned AI tools outright or used them blindly, leading to compliance failures, reputational damage, and eroded trust. So we built Tecto to close that gap—because real trust in AI adoption comes from having control.
